Mining software design workflow tips: workflow enhancements
With each new version, Micromine aims to provide users with more intuitive tools for mine planning, design and scheduling. These tools help to simplify everyday tasks and provide a greater understanding of your project.
Two of the more popular enhancements in Micromine 2016 are the quick find drillholes and quick find wireframes buttons. In case you don’t know what they do, both buttons sit on the select toolbar and provide users with a convenient way to location a drillhole or wireframe instantly in Vizex. All you have to enter is the name and click find. You can even search for more specific names if you know what you’re looking for.
Mining software Design workflow tips: scheduler
Another handy design workflow tip can be found in Micromine’s scheduler. In Micromine 2016, the scheduler was enhanced to provide long term scheduling for life of mine production. Combined with the existing short-term scheduling options, mine planners now have access to a full scheduling solution that can be configured based on your operation’s needs.
