Getting involved in team building and strategic planning at the 2017 Regional Managers’ Week

MICROMINE HQ in Perth hosted the Regional Managers for a week of knowledge sharing, idea generation and team building from October 23rd to 27th.

The week provided staff from all over the world the opportunity to meet face to face and participate in product workshops, corporate strategy discussions and even a friendly game of lawn bowls.

MICROMINE CEO, Claire Tuder, commented “It was another very successful week hosting the Regional Managers in Perth. With staff located all over the world, it’s rare to have everyone in the same room at the same time so we try and accomplish as much as we can during the week. While there’s a lot to cover, the time spent together builds connections within the company that help improve team chemistry.”

On Monday, the first Advisory Board Panel Discussion was held at the University of Western Australia. Advisory Board members Mitchell Hooke and John McGagh, as well as MICROMINE Chairman Alan Broome and MICROMINE Founder, Graeme Tuder, answered questions from staff and gave insight on a range of topics.

“It was great to hear from four very experienced gentlemen, and their insight and comments helped to shape a lot of discussion throughout the week” said Ms Tuder.

After a long week of workshops and group discussions, staff took part in the 2nd Annual MICROMINE Lawn Bowls competition. Despite a bit of rain, the afternoon was a great success and gave staff a chance to unwind after a busy week. Mr MICROMINE himself even made an appearance!

Ms. Tuder added “We’d like to thank the Regional Managers for giving up their time and travelling to Perth this week. We know how long a trip it is for some of them so we really appreciate the effort and we wish them a safe journey back.”
