Who are you?
Hi my name is Brink Visagie, I was born and bred in Johannesburg South Africa. I Went to The University of Pretoria as well as the University of Stellenbosch. I enjoy cycling and am a car enthusiast.
Where were you before MICROMINE?
I have an Honours degree in Geology and used to work on a diamond mine in both the North West Province and the Northern Cape.
Why do you love using MICROMINE’s products?
I enjoy the workings of Pitram, the complex database connections that get simplified into an easy to use program that can track the workings on a mine better than any human could do it. I especially like the idea of Pitram Mobile which makes it even easier for operators and gives a bit of a different dimension to their cockpit and everyday routine.
Why do you love working at MICROMINE?
I haven’t been at MICROMINE very long, but I can’t fault it in any manner. Everyone at the Johannesburg office are very friendly and while we all work very hard there is a lot of playfulness and a general cheerful vibe in the office. One cannot ask for better conditions to work under.
How does your role at MICROMINE Africa add value?
I am a Pitram Specialist, I make sure the clients are kept happy with the system they bought and I am there to support them with in any queries they have and keep everything running smoothly.
