The MICROMINE Africa team began one of many workshops in a bid to help prospects and clients who offer services in the consulting industry better understand the Micromine product and become more efficient in its core functionalities. The team within the Johannesburg office have always believed that the more proficient our users are, the more value they will get out of the product.
Little did we expect the value to be more than just user efficiency. Brian Radzuma, who was unemployed prior to the workshop, was contacted by a staff member to see if we could assist in the job search through skills development.
The MICROMINE Africa team knew about Brian’s employment challenges through social media, where his picture was circulated to help raise awareness for his plea. Brian was excited to be offered the opportunity and even more excited to be training alongside users who were already proficient with using Micromine software. The user in the class really helped Brian feel welcome during the course.
A day after the training, we got in touch with Brian to find out how the job hunt was going, and he had this to say, “The Micromine training certificate was the weapon that I used to win an interview. . . I love MICROMINE with all my heart.” It was such a heart warming feeling for MICROMINE Africa to know that we helped Brian find employment opportunities and assist with his skills development.
MICROMINE has always been a family orientated company, and we build strong relationships with our clients and people who are involved in the industry. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile for people like Brian. Brian showed himself to be an upstanding gentleman and worked hard throughout the three-day workshop. He always greeted us with a huge smile on his face.
