For three days in August, Western Australian gold mining town Kalgoorlie will be a hive of activity as mining executives from around the country and across the globe gather for Diggers & Dealers.
Among the hundreds of mining forum delegates will be representatives of leading mining software solutions provider MICROMINE. Armed with information on its latest products, the MICROMINE booth (#134) will be manned by experts demonstrating the company’s software solutions and answering technical questions.
“Our booth will quite literally be at the epicenter of the exhibition,” said Micromine Product Strategy Manager Mark Gabbitus.

We know our existing clients are keen to see Micromine 2020 in action and there’s quite a buzz among those curious about our products, so we know our booth will attract lots of enthusiastic visitors.”
Micromine 2020 boasts new charting tools, a new unfolding tool for model interpolation, a new Stope Optimiser, an improved scheduler and advances in the Implicit Modelling and Pit Optimiser modules.
In addition to demonstrating Micromine 2020’s capabilities, the team will also be available to answer any questions attendees have about MICROMINE’s suite of software solutions and the new features and enhancements to Geobank (with Geobank 2020 scheduled for release later this year also) and Pitram (with its new AI and machine-learning functionality).
MICROMINE has a long association with the premier mining event, having attended and exhibited at Diggers & Dealers for over a decade.
The annual event is one of the industry’s most anticipated, bringing together mining and exploration professionals, brokers, bankers, investors, financiers and mining services providers to hear presentations from listed companies and find out about the latest products from exhibitors.
Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum 2019 will be held from 5 to 7 August at the Goldfields Arts Centre in Kalgoorlie. This year’s keynote speaker is the Honourable John Howard OM AC who will take to the stage along with representatives of some of the world’s leading mining companies including MICROMINE partners AngloGold Ashanti Australia, Kirkland Lake Gold, Evolution Mining, Independence Group, Rio Tinto, South32, Peel Mining and Newcrest Mining.
