MICROMINE appoints new Pitram Product Strategy Manager

MICROMINE is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Higgins to the position of Product Strategy Manager Pitram and will be based out of MICROMINE headquarters in Perth, Western Australia.

Mr Higgins has been with MICROMINE for over 10 years where he has held various roles within the Pitram team focusing on reporting, systems optimisation, technical support and product development.  Having spent the last 18 months as the Pitram Senior Systems Specialist, Mr Higgins has been working closely with our global Pitram client base to ensure they are getting the most out of their software, providing expert technical advice and support.

Mr Higgins holds a Bachelor of GeoScience from the University of New England and has recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Mining at Curtin University.

Upon his appointment, Mr Higgins commented, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the Pitram strategy during what is a really exciting phase for the product. The industry continues moving towards digitalisation, interoperability and the use of Artificial Intelligence, and this is where our focus remains.”

Mr Higgins, who started the role this month, will be responsible for driving growth for Pitram across MICROMINE’s global markets.

Mr Higgins commented on the strength of the Pitram solution and that it is well placed to assist its clients maximise operational efficiency gains.

“Our goal is to ensure our Pitram clients are getting the most out of their software solution. We achieve this through the delivery of outstanding support and customer service, customized training programs and the continuous improvement of our intuitive software” Mr Higgins added.
