Who are you?
My name is Andrew Osmond and I was born in Windhoek, Namibia but was raised in the Western Cape. I have been happily married to Lindie for 18 years and I am trying to successfully raise two teenage kids, Michaela 17 and Aidan 14, which is a full-time job.
What is your background in Mining?
Even though I have no Geological or mining background, I have more than twelve years’ experience in selling computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM) and additive manufacturing (3D Printing) solutions in the mechanical engineering/manufacturing space which mostly included suppliers to the mining Industry. I have previously worked for Dassault Systèmes, Autodesk and Siemens.

Due to my many years’ experience in the software solution sales environment, I have learnt to quickly assess and understand a client’s requirements and thus providing a suitable solution.
