Interesting times ahead for Mongolia’s Coal Industry

Last month, MICROMINE exhibited at the 7th Coal Mongolia Conference and Exhibition in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

“It was great to be back again at the conference and with so many people attending, we were busier than ever meeting with clients to discuss MICROMINE” commented MICROMINE Regional Manager, Togi Tsogtsaikhan.

Coal Mongolia is an annual international conference, supported by Mongolian’s private sector, along with foreign and domestic coal investors. This year’s conference saw over 3,000 guests and more than 60 foreign investment companies participate.

With the ongoing discussion between the Mongolian government and private sectors about the direction of Mongolia’s coal industry,  the conference offered a great platform to discuss what the future holds for companies involved in the industry.

Tsogtsaikhan added “Many talks were held between the government and key members of Mongolia’s coal industry, it is looking very promising.”

“There were a number of exhibitors showcasing the latest technology available to coal operations. Clients were very interested in learning the latest developments in our solutions.”

Not only were clients interested in learning more about MICROMINE’s solutions but we are seeing an increasing interest in personalised training and development.

“It’s great to see a lot of interest for training as well as our products. We’ll be following up with those clients to see how we can help to improve their knowledge and skills with our products” added Mr Tsogtsaikhan.

Thanks again to everyone who came along to our booth this year. We hope to see you again next year.
