MICROMINE is pleased to announce the release of Geobank 2018 Service Pack 2, also known as Geobank 2018 SP2. Geobank 2018 is the latest version of MICROMINE’s market leading data management solution and assists mining and exploration companies to maintain the quality, integrity and usability of their essential data.
Geobank 2018 SP2 addresses a number of bugs and fixes to assist in improving the usability and functionality of the software. SP2 has been developed with the aim of enhancing the overall user experience.
Geobank 2018 SP2 includes over 50 bug fixes, highlights of which are below:
- Improvement to the handling of system mappings during the upgrade process; making upgrade easier and maintain backward compatibility.
- A new Data View option, with a shortcut key, has been added to refresh the data frames after running Custom Validation
- A new setting for the folder in which Config Database connections are stored – this is useful if there are corporate permission restrictions on the default folder
- The LAS File Import Wizard now stores the Mnemonic mappings for re-use
