Exploring the geological trends of Saskatchewan’s mineral industry

Representatives from MICROMINE’s Canada office made their way to Saskatoon last week for the 48th Saskatchewan Geological Open House Conference.

Business Development Manager, Jeremy Pestun, commented “This year’s event was a great success. The Saskatchewan region has a number of exciting emerging projects so it was the perfect opportunity to discuss with clients how MICROMINE’s solutions could be used on their project.”

Held over three days at the historic Delta Bessborough Hotel, the event showcased Saskatchewan’s mineral industry to over 700 local, national and international guests.

Not only did MICROMINE exhibit at this year’s event but were also premier sponsors. The team also hosted a technical session, ‘Emerging Projects and Advances in Exploration’, which focused on some of the latest innovations in mining exploration.

“All of the presenters were very insightful and highlighted some of the up and coming projects and new geoscientific methods used in Saskatchewan. The room was packed and there was a lot of discussion being generated, we hope everyone enjoyed themselves” added Mr Pestun.
