About the Conference
The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) is Australia’s largest mining event. Bringing together over 5000 decision makers, mining leaders, policy makers, investors, commodity buyers, technical experts, innovators and educators from over 80 countries for four days of learning, deal-making and unparalleled networking.
The IMARC 2018 programme will cover all aspects of mining, from exploration to investment, production to optimisation through to new technologies. Along with future energy opportunities, as well as people, projects and infrastructure case studies that will benefit the industry.
The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) will hold one of its bi-annual Council meetings to coincide with this year’s International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), bringing the CEO’s of 25 of the world’s leading mining and metals companies to Melbourne in 2018. Andrew Mackenzie, CEO of BHP (one of the founding members of ICMM) made the announcement at the 100th Melbourne Mining Club luncheon.
